OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate operational priorities across business units and follow up on agreed actions through to completion.
- Bring the right teams together to resolve issues, manage risks and escalate matters requiring senior management decisions.
- Improve processes, controls and reporting to support efficiency, cost control and better use of resources.
- Coordinate special projects and management assignments, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and delays.
- Provide concise operational updates and visit Group locations as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
- Preferably 8–10 years of managerial experience in operations, project coordination, business management or multi-site operations.
- Experience in a diversified group is an advantage, exposure to tea, plantations, exports, hospitality, energy or logistics is beneficial.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach, with integrity, initiative and the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
