ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to challenging and impactful water supply and infrastructure projects.
(This is a part-time position, requiring a maximum of 11 working days per month.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works.
- Review electrical drawings, designs, and technical documents.
- Prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
- Evaluate technical bids and contractor submissions.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and design improvements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in water supply, irrigation, infrastructure, or electromechanical projects will be an advantage.
- Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and supervision.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, control systems, MCC panels will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical standards, safety, and quality requirements.
- IESL membership or Chartered Engineer status will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
