SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – FOOD INGREDIENTS & FRAGRANCES
STAY Naturals manufactures essential oils, oleoresins, isolated active ingredients and oleoresin-based flavour products for food, flavour and personal-care markets. Our factory is located close to the spice-growing regions of Matale in Sri Lanka.
We are seeking an energetic and high-performing Senior Business Development Executive – Food Ingredients & Fragrances to drive sales for our flavour systems and fragrances product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and develop business opportunities within the food and personal care industries.
- Promote the company’s products and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with relevant internal teams.
- Follow up on samples, quotations and product trials to convert opportunities into sales.
- Prepare quotations and support price negotiations.
- Maintain customer and sales records and provide regular sales updates.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends and communicate them to management.
- Achieve assigned sales and new-business targets.
Requirements
- Degree, diploma or professional qualification in Food Science, Sales, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience.
- Experience in flavours, seasonings and/or food ingredients would be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of food manufacturing and food ingredients.
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build customer relationships and consistently follow up sales opportunities.
- Good command of English and Sinhala. Tamil would be an advantage.
- Computer literacy, including the MS Office package.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Sri Lanka.
- Residence in or near Palapathwela, Matale, or willingness to relocate would be an advantage.
