Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to lead the Bank's sustainability agenda, drive ESG integration, strengthen sustainable finance initiatives, and enhance environmental and social risk management across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance & Strategy
- Provide sustainability guidance to the Board and management, support ESG strategy development, policy implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor sustainability trends, risks, opportunities, and performance against ESG objectives.
- Environmental & Social Risk Management
- Lead and enhance the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
- Conduct environmental and social due diligence for high-risk lending and support climate risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
- Sustainable Finance
- Drive sustainable and green finance initiatives.
- Build partnerships with clients, investors, and development agencies to expand sustainable financing and impact investment opportunities.
- Operational Sustainability
- Support the Bank’s net-zero ambitions, resource efficiency, decarbonization, energy management, health and safety, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with sustainability-related regulations and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to sustainability disclosures and non-financial reporting in the Annual Report.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Culture
- Support community and flagship sustainability programs.
- Promote a strong sustainability culture and enhance the Bank’s sustainability brand through employee and stakeholder engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, sustainable finance, or CSR.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
