Wickramaratnes Group of Companies is on the lookout for a dynamic and committed Chief Operating Manager to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage branch operations across multiple locations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Lead procurement activities, supplier negotiations, and inventory management to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Monitor operational performance through regular reporting, analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal controls, compliance procedures, and risk management practices.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the Group's business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial position.
- Strong educational background in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, and distribution operations.
- Experience in managing operations within a diversified business environment will be highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively leverage ICT knowledge to support organizational objectives
- Candidates between 35 and 50 years of age are encouraged to apply.
