MEDICAL OFFICERS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide immediate and continuous care to critically ill patients.
- Assist Consultants and Specialists in patient management and critical care protocols.
- Monitor and manage patients on life-support systems and advanced monitoring equipment.
- Perform and assist in emergency procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families and multidisciplinary teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBBS or equivalent qualified Medical Officers with valid full Registration from Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) for practicing as Medical Officers.
- Prior experience in ICU; Neonatal ICU; ETU; Pediatric Obstetrics & Gynecology; High Dependency Units will be an added advantage.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing hospital quality indicators.
- Support audits, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Help track clinical and patient safety data.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and maintaining quality records.
- Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical teams as needed.
- Support ongoing accreditation and compliance activities.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

- Understanding of patient safety, clinical governance, and performance indicators.
