LOGISTIC ASSISTANT
LAUGFS Lubricants Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of LAUGFS Holdings, is Sri Lanka's first and only local brand to manufacture and market its own range of lubricants, catering to all classes of motor vehicles and industries. Established in 2008, we have successfully challenged a market dominated by multinational brands, setting new benchmarks for locally manufactured lubricants. Our products, blended using state-of-the-art technology and adhering to international industry standards, are trusted for their superior quality and reliability.
As LAUGFS Lubricants continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our Logistics Team, supporting daily warehouse operations, inventory management, material handling, and dispatch activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and handle GRNs, CRNs, and delivery notes.
- Perform regular stock counting and physical stock verification to ensure stock accuracy.
- Carry out daily warehouse operations, including proper storage, material handling, and maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, helpers, and the dispatch team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out), safety procedures, and established warehouse SOPs.
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015-related warehouse records and documentation.
- Assist supervisors with daily operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Stores Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics, Warehouse, or Stores operations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required is essential
