We are a leading bedding retailer in Sri Lanka, with our own manufacturing facility producing 100% natural latex foam mattresses. We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, marketing, and customer service to join our team as a Retail Sales & Marketing Executive. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily showroom operations and ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Attend to walk-in customers and prospective clients, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and effectively convert inquiries into sales.
- Promote the company’s products, offers, and brand through social media and other marketing channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Prepare quotations, handle sales documentation, and maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Support business development initiatives, including exhibitions, promotional campaigns, and online and offline marketing activities.
- Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience and timely service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) or Advanced Level (A/L) qualifications.
- A professional qualification in Marketing from SLIM, CIM, or another recognized institution, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Sinhala and English. Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office, email, WhatsApp, and ERP/POS systems.
- Experience in sales and marketing, particularly in bedding, furniture, clothing, hardware, FMCG, or other retail industries, will be an advantage.
- Strong customer-handling, negotiation, and sales-closing skills.
- Good leadership qualities, business acumen, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- A proactive, target-driven, and results-oriented attitude.
