SECURITY ARCHITECT
Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional with a passion for designing secure IT environments? We are looking for a skilled Security Architect to design, develop, and implement robust security solutions to protect our organization’s IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and sensitive data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop enterprise-wide security architectures, frameworks, and strategies.
- Assess IT systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Establish security standards, policies, and best practices in line with industry frameworks.
- Design and implement security solutions covering network security, cloud security, identity and access management, and data protection.
- Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling.
- Ensure security controls align with business requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, development, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support incident response planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on security improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
- A degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security architecture.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, encryption, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
- Experience with cloud security, security frameworks, risk management, and security architecture principles.
- Understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Knowledge of threat modelling, vulnerability management, and security assessment methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA will be an added advantage.
