Darley Butler & Co. Ltd. markets some of the most popular FMCG Brands in the Sri Lankan market. In our continuous strive for excellence and to support its data driven decision making initiatives, we are looking for an applicant for the following vacancy for immediate employment at its Heath Care Division.
BUSINESS FINANCIAL ANALYST
The ideal applicant would be commercially minded and analytical professional to support business performance and decision-making, reporting directly to the Division CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyse business performance against budgets, forecasts and financial targets, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Conduct profitability, product costing, pricing and margin analyses.
- Evaluate business proposals and investment opportunities through financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs and optimise working capital.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or CA Sri Lanka.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in business finance, financial analysis or commercial finance.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI and ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing and trading sectors will be a distinct advantage.
