We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will support the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT systems, servers, networks, and infrastructure. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or an individual with foundational IT knowledge who is eager to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, and IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring computer systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.
- Support Windows and Linux operating systems, including basic administration and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with user account management, access permissions, and system configurations.
- Support system updates, security patches, backups, and recovery procedures.
- Assist in managing virtual machines and virtualization platforms.
- Document technical issues, solutions, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams to resolve technical incidents.
- Follow IT security policies, operational procedures, and infrastructure best practices.
- Participate in system maintenance, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts.
- Basic troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team-oriented environment.
