Assistant Accountant
Delmege Forsyth Energy, the authorized macro distributor for Shell Lubricants in Sri Lanka, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager – Industrial Sales to support the growth of our industrial sales business while building long-term relationships with customers across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product-wise budget vs. actual gross profit and monitor profitability.
- Review costing, discounts, and advertising and promotion expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor debtors, receivables, advances, and working capital.
- Process daily financial transactions and complete monthly accounts accurately and on time.
- Prepare financial reports, reporting packs, VAT returns, and relevant schedules.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable entries and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Coordinate inventory checks and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system balances.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- 4–5 years of proven experience in a financial management role.
- Strong financial acumen, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a high level of ethical conduct.
