We are looking for a detail-oriented Layout Designing Assistant to prepare page layouts for our daily newspapers. Freshers with basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign are welcome to apply.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare newspaper page layouts using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Arrange headlines, articles, photographs, and graphics according to the publication’s layout guidelines.
- Make revisions based on editorial feedback and check pages for layout and formatting issues before printing.
- Complete assigned pages within daily publication deadlines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- An eye for typography, alignment, and page layout.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to daily deadlines.
- Ability to work night shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
