HRC Labs leads the technological transformation of HealthRecon Connect by developing intelligent automation solutions that improve healthcare delivery, reduce administrative burden, and enhance clients' operating margins and cash flow.
This role will involve designing, developing, maintaining, and continuously improving automated testing solutions across UI, API, integration, and backend layers. The selected candidate will work with Playwright and/or Selenium, Java and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. The role will also focus on risk-based testing, defect investigation, framework quality, release readiness, and mentoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You Will Own
- Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve scalable automated test frameworks for web UI, APIs, integrations, backend systems, and distributed microservices.
- Build and maintain automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end suites using Playwright and/or Selenium with Java and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures and defects, and ensure reliable, maintainable, and low-flakiness test execution.
- Lead risk-based testing, defect investigation, release readiness, and quality improvements while collaborating with engineering, product, business, and QA teams.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant industry experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of overall software QA experience, including at least 3 years of strong hands-on test automation engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium, Java and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, REST API testing, SQL, Git, and CI/CD automation.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is an advantage; experience with performance/load testing or healthcare, RCM, billing, EHR/EMR, or other regulated software is also an advantage.

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of software QA experience, including 3+ years in hands-on test automation. The ideal candidate has strong Playwright/Selenium, Java or TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, SQL, Git, and CI/CD skills, with a focus on scalable automation, quality engineering, and technical leadership.
