The Colombo Swimming Club, one of Sri Lanka’s premier members’ clubs, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the below positions.
NIGHT DUTY SUPERVISOR (FRONT OFFICE)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage Front Office operations during the night shift.
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures for members and guests.
- Attend to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Monitor club premises and report any unusual incidents or security concerns.
- Handle cash, billing, and daily financial reconciliations accurately.
- Ensure all reservations, guest records, and reports are updated and maintained.
- Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with club policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Act as the senior representative on duty during night operations.
Requirements
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Front Office, Hospitality, Hotel, or Club Operations.
- Previous supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala. Knowledge of Tamil will be an advantage.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night operations.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Age preferred – below 40 years.
