Production Executive
Food Manufacturing & Retail | Colombo
BakeShop, a rapidly growing bakery and food retail chain with 20+ outlets and ISO 22000-certified centralized production facilities, is seeking an experienced, results-driven leader to oversee operations and drive business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain product quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Monitor raw material usage, production wastage, and stock requirements.
- Maintain daily production records, reports, and documentation.
- Support production planning, staff coordination, and workflow improvements.
- Identify production issues and report shortages, delays, and quality concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP, and food safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in production operations, preferably in the food manufacturing or bakery industry.
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of production planning, quality control, and food safety practices.
- Good coordination, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including early morning, evening, or night shifts as required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and support operational requirements.
