Positions Available
PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE - MATERIAL CONTROL & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Key Responsibilities
- Accountability to plan and monitor the availability and timely assurance of raw and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Procurement and Quality teams to ensure efficient material flow.
- Monitor material consumption, identify variances and drive actions to minimize wastage and losses.
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing material wastage, process losses and operational inefficiencies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for material and process-related issues.
- Monitor key production and material KPIs and prepare performance reports.
- Support Lean, 5S, Kaizen and other process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production and material records while ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor improvement projects and process trials.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, health & safety and other operational standards.
- Train and enhance the team's proficiency in the ERP system and related processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in food science and technology
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment will be an added advantage.
- Experience in material control, production planning, process improvement or operational excellence will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production and material data.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies will be advantageous.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis; knowledge of Power BI & SAP would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
