FARM SUPERVISOR – INDOOR PLANTS
Kanara Exports (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a dedicated and experienced Farm Supervisor to oversee our indoor plant production operations. We are seeking someone passionate about plants, with practical knowledge of plant cultivation, nursery management and the ability to lead a farm team efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily indoor plant nursery and farm operations.
- Oversee planting, potting, repotting and plant propagation activities.
- Monitor plant growth, health and quality.
- Manage watering, fertilizing and plant nutrition schedules.
- Identify and manage plant diseases, pests and other growing issues.
- Supervise farm workers and allocate daily duties.
- Maintain proper nursery hygiene and growing conditions.
- Monitor plant stock, production records and inventory.
- Ensure plants meet quality standards for local and export markets.
- Improve production efficiency and minimize plant losses.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science or a related field will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursery or farm operations.
- Practical knowledge of indoor plants and ornamental plant propagation.
- Good understanding of plant propagation, potting media, fertilizers and pest management.
- Previous experience supervising farm workers or nursery teams.
- Ability to maintain production records and monitor plant inventory.
- Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for plants and willingness to work hands-on.
