Senior Quality Assurance Associate (Senior QAA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, and company quality procedures.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and verification of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective CAPA.
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related records, reports, SOPs, and documentation. Support and participate in internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Monitor product traceability and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Stores, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor QA/QC team members to ensure effective performance. Conduct quality and GMP-related training for employees when required.
  • Handle customer complaints and support investigations and corrective actions.
  • Promote a strong culture of quality, food safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Food Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
  • Experience in food packaging, flexible packaging, plastics, food & beverage, or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, and quality control processes.
  • Knowledge of food-contact packaging requirements, traceability, CAPA, internal audits, and quality documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-management abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good computer literacy, particularly MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work Night Shift.
