SENIOR PATTERN MAKER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop patterns for styles, translating design sketches into accurate, production-ready patterns.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, including construction details, seam allowances, and grading rules.
- Collaborate with the sampling team to create prototypes, adjusting patterns after fit tests and sample reviews.
- Utilize pattern-making software (Gerber) to create and manage digital patterns and ensure they are organized for easy production access.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on how to improve garment designs for mass production, focusing on fit, function, and cost-efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant position.
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
- Strong experience using pattern-making software, Gerber.
- Expertise in size grading, fabric behavior, and pattern adjustments for various garment types.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with designers, production teams, and quality control.
