OVIN GASES (PVT) LTD.
We are Ovin Gases (Pvt) Ltd. and a well-established organization that is engaged in manufacturing Industrial gases & distributing them around Sri Lanka. We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented individuals to join our Finance team for the post of Maintenance Engineer (Male).
The Person we are looking for must possess,
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university /institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in industrial plant maintenance, manufacturing, process plants, or a similar environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Experience in maintenance of compressors, pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, pressure systems, rotating equipment, and other industrial plant machinery would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to identify mechanical problems and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of safety, industrial safety procedures, and maintenance standards is essential.
- Ability to maintain proper maintenance records, reports, equipment histories, and technical documentation.
- Age between 35 – 45 years.
- Candidates residing in Homagama, Athurugiriya, Hanwella, or surrounding areas will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum plant availability and minimum equipment downtime.
- Monitor the condition and performance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures efficiently.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, and servicing.
- Maintain adequate spares, tools, and maintenance resources.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety requirements and company procedures.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, equipment improvement, and plant reliability.
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians where required.
