ASSISTANT MANAGER OPERATIONS
Lassana Group is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Operations to support our Head of Operations in managing end-to-end operations across transportation, warehousing, logistics, last-mile delivery, and customer service for our diverse business units.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in managing day-to-day transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations across all business units
- Support last-mile delivery planning and execution to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
- Help lead and coordinate the operations team, ensuring accountability and performance
- Monitor and drive order accuracy, on-time delivery (OTD), and customer satisfaction KPIs
- Collaborate with teams on automation initiatives and data-driven insights to improve efficiency
- Plan and manage operational readiness for seasonal demand surges
- Support cross-functional coordination between warehousing, logistics, and customer service teams
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices
- Step in for the Head of Operations in their absence, as required
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Professional certification in logistics/supply chain (e.g. CIPS, CILT) is an advantage
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Prior experience in supervisory/managerial capacity
- Experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, bakery, agriculture, or related supply chain operations is an advantage
- Exposure to last-mile delivery operations and demand planning is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good analytical and data-driven decision-making ability
- Familiarity with WMS and logistics software
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak/seasonal periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours during peak seasonal periods
- Based in or willing to relocate near our operations location
