Lassana.com is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/ Executive- Purchasing / Executive to join our Procurement team and support the growth of our HoReCa fresh produce business.
Our HoReCa business is driven by a meaningful purpose — to make fresh, safe, and hygienic fruits and vegetables affordable and accessible to all, while helping take farmers out of poverty through a sustainable and responsible approach.
About the Role
The Assistant Manager/ Executive- Purchasing / Executive will support the procurement process, including sourcing, purchase order management and supplier coordination, ensuring the availability of quality fresh produce while maintaining cost efficiency, supplier relationships, and procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and other HoReCa produce based on quality, freshness, hygiene and price requirements.
- Manage purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and farmers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers and aggregators.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, quantity, pricing and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Support the team in the development of reliable and sustainable farmer and supplier network.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Agriculture, Business Management or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, FMCG, fresh produce, agriculture, or a related field.
- Good negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and related computer applications.
