POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Foreman is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently and according to quality standards. This role involves coordinating workers, monitoring progress, managing resources, and maintaining communication between management and the workforce to achieve production targets. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing all types of breakdowns and routine maintenance of all types of machines and equipment
- Labor allocation for relevant jobs and monitoring performance daily
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the Maintenance department
- Following up on Health & Safety guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed NVQ level 4 qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical or equivalent qualification from any other recognized institute
- Knowledge of PLC / Pneumatic will be an added advantage
- Flexibility to work extra hours when required
- Min. 3 years experience in field (preferably FMCG industry)
- Age below 45 years.
