ECO Spindle’s technologically advanced facility is Sri Lanka’s first ever yarn manufacturing plant producing recycled polyester using PET bottles. We are the world’s first ever Flake to POY facility and proud to acclaim the lowest carbon footprint in yarn manufacturing.

We seek a self-motivated dynamic individual with a high degree of drive, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills for our production unit in the Mawugama, Batuvita, Horana.

Executive - Stores

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse & Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving, warehousing, and distribution) while ensuring strict compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Control & System Accuracy: Manage and maintain real-time, accurate inventory records within the ERP system; execute regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure maximum stock integrity.
  • Inbound & Quality Assurance: Oversee the goods receiving process, including the timely generation of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and coordinating quality inspections for all incoming materials.
  • Production Support & Material Planning: Plan, coordinate, and ensure the timely and accurate issuance of raw materials and finished goods to seamlessly support production schedules.
  • Space Optimization & Compliance (5S/ISO): Maintain an efficient warehouse layout for optimal space utilization while upholding 5S practices, ISO standards, and occupational health and safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership & Resource Scheduling: Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling, assigning, and supervising team members, driving accountability for work results.

Basic Qualification and Requirements

  • Academic qualifications from a recognized institute or university; a professional qualification in warehouse or material management will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably with exposure to ERP systems.
  • Ability to independently identify and fulfill requirements related to the role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • High sense of responsibility and flexibility to work extended hours when required to achieve targets.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing close to the Horana area.
