Junior Mechatronics & Automation Engineer
Apogee Automation Systems (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated and technically capable engineer to join our team in Horana, involved in the design, development, fabrication and commissioning of custom industrial automation machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D mechanical models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Prepare engineering, fabrication and assembly drawings
- Prepare BOMs and component specifications
- Design machine structures, mechanisms, conveyors, fixtures and guards
- Assist in developing custom industrial automation machines
- Work with motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, pneumatics and linear motion systems
- Coordinate with electrical, PLC and automation engineers
- Support fabrication, machine assembly, installation and commissioning
- Participate in customer site visits and troubleshooting
- Modify and improve machine designs based on actual operating conditions
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / HND / Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Good practical knowledge of SolidWorks
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in workshop and factory environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
