Job Description
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (Ampara/ Anuradhapura)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory and field tests on construction materials
- Perform tests on concrete, soil, aggregates, cement, and other materials according to applicable standards
- Prepare test samples and maintain proper testing records
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Prepare laboratory test reports and communicate test results to QA/ QC personnel
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping and safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ NCT or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, Materials Testing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction/ material testing laboratories
- Practical knowledge of concrete, soil, aggregate, cement, and other construction material testing
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills
