PROJECT ENGINEER (2-YEARS FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)
Ekala
The role is responsible for leading and supporting engineering projects related to machine relocations, utility modifications, plant development, and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes:
- Conducting feasibility studies,
- Managing project execution,
- Coordinating installations and commissioning activities,
- Ensuring compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards,
- Maintaining accurate documentation,
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and efficient technical solutions that support operational excellence and business growth.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including exposure to industrial project management.
- A professional qualification in Project Management will be considered an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.
