We are ready to launch our modern state-of-the-art Logistics facility operations in Katunayake EPZ. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated people for our newest supply chain arm, DGL FREEZONE Pvt Ltd. at Katunayake.
We're Hiring: Security Manager
Are you a proactive security professional with a passion for safeguarding people, assets, and operations? At DGL FREEZONE, we are looking for a highly motivated Security Manager to lead and strengthen security operations within our logistics and freezone facility. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, Customs, BOI, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall physical, cargo, personnel, and facility security
- Oversee 24/7 security operations, including guard deployment and shift management
- Monitor access control systems, CCTV surveillance, alarms, and cargo movements
- Protect customer and Customs/BOI-controlled cargo and assets
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and implement corrective actions
- Perform security inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
- Manage outsourced security service providers and monitor performance standards
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Compliance, HSE, Customs, BOI, and law enforcement agencies
- Support customer security audits and ensure compliance with company SOPs and security standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of security or loss prevention experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, port, airport, bonded warehouse, or freezone environments
- Experience in CCTV monitoring, access control, incident investigations, and security team management
- Diploma or Certification in Security Management, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Logistics, or a related field will be an advantage
- Former Police, Armed Forces, STF, or recognized security service personnel are encouraged to apply
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
