Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and attend to machine breakdowns.
- Good discipline, responsibility and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Experience with factory machinery will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
- Attend to electrical faults and machine breakdowns.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain motors, control panels, sensors, contactors and other electrical components.
- Carry out electrical wiring, installations and modifications when required.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Support the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain proper maintenance records.
