About the role

We’re looking for a proactive Sales Lead to guide our sales team, drive daily performance, and turn customer enquiries into confirmed bookings.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the sales process from start to finish. You’ll support the team in managing incoming enquiries, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, improving conversion rates, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure sales targets are met and customers receive timely, accurate, and helpful responses.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Guide and support the sales team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor incoming sales chats, inboxes, and emails to ensure timely responses and consistent customer service.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, follow-ups, and lead management to maximise booking conversions.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs, identify performance gaps, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Support the team in handling complex customer enquiries, objections, and complaints, ensuring effective resolutions.
  • Ensure accurate CRM updates, proper lead tracking, and consistent data hygiene across sales channels.
  • Prepare and review sales performance reports, tracking enquiries, conversions, confirmed bookings, and lost leads.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve sales processes, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Assist in planning and executing sales promotions and seasonal campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Support the preparation of team rosters to ensure adequate coverage across sales channels.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure a smooth transition from booking confirmation to service delivery.
  • Share sales insights, customer feedback, and improvement opportunities with the Sales Manager.

About you

You’re a results-driven sales professional who enjoys helping a team perform at its best. You’re comfortable taking ownership of daily sales operations, analysing numbers, coaching team members, and stepping in when a customer needs extra support.

You know that great sales are not just about closing deals — they’re about understanding customer needs, building trust, and creating experiences worth recommending.

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing sales, or a related role.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a team-leading, supervisory, or coaching capacity is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of sales funnels, lead management, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to monitor sales KPIs, analyse performance data, and prepare reports.
  • Experience coaching team members and supporting performance improvement.
  • Confidence in handling customer complaints and resolving sales-related issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
