We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals of high integrity to join our team as Senior Drivers / Commissary Attendants (Airside Logistics Support - ALS). The ideal candidate will possess strong professional qualifications, a sound work ethic, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will support aircraft catering and airside logistics operations by ensuring the safe, secure, and timely delivery of catering products, equipment, and supplies while maintaining compliance with company, airline, safety, & security requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Operate catering trucks and associated equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, airport regulations, and airside safety requirements.
- Adhere to Ground Safety Norms and Rules while operating within the apron and other airside operational areas.
- Ensure the safe, secure, and timely delivery, uplift, offload, and exchange of airline catering products, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to catering truck operations, aircraft servicing, and airside activities.
- Handle customer airline property, company vehicles, aircraft catering equipment, and supplies with care to prevent damage, loss, or operational disruptions.
- Conduct vehicle safety and serviceability checks before operation and report any defects, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Comply with Aviation Security (AVSEC), Safety Management System (SMS), HACCP, ISO, and other company quality, safety, and security requirements.
- Support on-time flight departures by completing assigned catering activities within required turnaround times.
- Maintain required standards of personal hygiene, grooming, uniform presentation, and professional conduct at all times.
- Accurately complete operational records, checklists, and documentation as required.
- Report safety hazards, incidents, security concerns, operational irregularities, and non-conformities through the appropriate reporting channels.
- Cooperate with colleagues, Supervisors, and other operational departments to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Six passes for G. C. E. O/L including English & Mathematics.
- 02 years' or more experience with Heavy Vehicle Driving License in a recognized establishment.
- General Knowledge in Diesel & Motor Mechanism and previous experience in Flight Catering would be an added advantage.
- Pass in color vision test.
- Sound planning and organizing skills coupled with a methodical approach to work.
