REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Visa Management: Manage the full cycle of visa applications (e.g., Subclass 482, 186, 400, 485, 600) for visa applications, from document collection and skills assessments to lodging applications with the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
- Compliance & Monitoring: Track visa status, expiry dates, sponsorship obligations, and condition checks (e.g., VEVO verifications) to ensure full compliance with Australian migration laws.
- HR Administration & Onboarding: Prepare employment contracts, manage employee onboarding/offboarding workflows, maintain personnel files, and track leave balances.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact between candidates, internal management, regulatory authorities (MARA), and legal advisors.
- Process Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate mobility databases, generate weekly visa status reports, and keep common HR SOPs updated.
- English Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Work from Home Requirements & Setup: Working hours, quiet, dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and availability to work a minimum of 40–48 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field; 2+ years of hands-on experience in Australian immigration and HR administration.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Content understanding of Australian Migration Regulations, Home Affairs portal processes, and Fair Work Australia compliance guidelines.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using HRIS platforms, document management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Notion), and migration software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication, strong attention to detail for legal paperwork, and high discretion with confidential employee data.
- Good Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word. Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms. Knowledge of AI-powered recruitment tools is highly desirable.
