ICT Officer (Maharagama & Nugegoda)
Royal Institute is seeking a skilled, reliable, and dedicated ICT Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of ICT systems, providing timely technical support to staff and students, and ensuring the effective use and maintenance of technology across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day ICT support to teachers, administrative staff, and students.
- Troubleshoot and maintain computers, laptops, printers, network devices, and other ICT equipment.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
- Monitor and support internet connectivity, email systems, user accounts, and access permissions.
- Maintain ICT assets, equipment records, backups, and relevant documentation.
- Provide technical support for Edexcel IAL IT practical examinations and Cambridge/Edexcel digital platforms.
- Coordinate with external service providers and vendors and provide first-level support for CCTV and other branch ICT requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IT/ICT support role.
- Good knowledge of hardware, software, Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an educational environment and familiarity with Cambridge/Edexcel systems will be an added advantage.
