Manager/ AI Transformation – Office of COO

We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented individual to join our team as Manager/ AI Transformation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Developing and executing SLIIT's AI transformation roadmap aligned with institutional strategy, focusing on academic excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation.
- Identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI use cases across faculties and administrative departments.
- Leading AI-driven process improvement initiatives by automating repetitive tasks, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and improving stakeholder experiences.
- Collaborating with academic and research teams to promote AI adoption, support AI-related projects, and facilitate industry-academia partnerships in emerging technologies.
- Establishing AI governance, data management, compliance, and ethical AI practices to ensure the responsible and secure deployment of AI solutions.
- Managing relationships with technology vendors, solution providers, and internal stakeholders to deliver AI projects on time and within budget.
- Driving organizational change management, awareness programs, and capability-building initiatives to enhance AI literacy and adoption among staff and students.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and Master's degree in AI, Data Science, Digital Transformation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of overall work experience in the relevant discipline, including three (3) years of managerial or equivalent supervisory/ lead role experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technology-enabled transformation projects and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, automation platforms, data governance, and emerging digital technologies.
