DEAN – FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, supported by a distinguished academic and professional record.
- At least 15 years of experience in higher education, including substantial leadership and administrative responsibilities.
- Proven capability in leading academic teams and overseeing multidisciplinary academic programmes.
- Demonstrated insight into emerging trends in IT education, research, and industry practice, together with strong communication, strategic leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and inspire the Faculty of IT through strong academic governance and strategic direction, promoting high standards in teaching, research, and technological innovation.
- Direct curriculum innovation, uphold academic quality, and manage programme accreditation in line with industry requirements and global best practices.
- Cultivate strong industry and international academic partnerships that advance innovation, student learning, and research impact.
- Manage faculty operations and resources efficiently to achieve strategic and institutional priorities.
