Located directly on Pehembiya Beach in Hiriketiya, Malkoha Specialty Cafe and Bar is committed to setting a new standard for hospitality in Sri Lanka. We are a progressive, quality-driven restaurant built around exceptional food, outstanding service and a genuine passion for the industry.

Wait Staff / Front of House
We are looking for friendly, confident and attentive people to join our Front of House team. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest, from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
The successful candidates will be comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment and will have a genuine interest in food, coffee, drinks and hospitality.
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English
- Friendly, confident and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good knowledge or interest in food and beverages
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High standards of personal presentation and cleanliness
- Genuine passion for providing excellent guest service
We are particularly interested in people who are naturally attentive, proactive and able to anticipate what guests need rather than simply waiting to be instructed.
Bartenders/Barworkers
We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled bartenders to join our bar team.
Malkoha has a considered drinks offering that includes cocktails, local spirits, beer, wine, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. We are looking for people who are interested in drinks and hospitality and who want to develop their knowledge and skills in a creative, quality-focused environment.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Good knowledge of cocktails and basic bar service
- Interest in spirits, cocktails, coffee and beverages
- Good command of English
- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy service
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organisation and presentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain consistent quality and service standards
