ASSISTANT ENGINEER
LOCATION: MEEGODA / EKALA / RATHMALANA
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Plan, schedule, supervise, and monitor electrical and related project activities.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in vendor evaluation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
- Assist in documentation, progress reporting, and maintaining compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and machinery.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.
- Ensure adherence to industrial construction and MEP installation standards.
YOU SHOULD:
- National Diploma in Technology (NDT) in Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 6 in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering projects—preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with MEP installations and machine commissioning processes.
- Sound knowledge of industrial construction standards and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
