Vacancies for Civil Engineers
We are a Public Listed Company engaged in Civil, Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering Projects in Sri Lanka, for well over Four decades.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BSc qualified Civil Engineers to take full ownership of critical civil/water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary on-site authority, managing daily site activities, workforce, and resources for the civil/water project
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies
- Enforce strict quality control, health & safety, and environmental compliance standards
- Identify and resolve technical, operational, or logistical issues to prevent delays
- Prepare progress reports, maintain site documentation, and communicate updates to senior management
- Ensure the project meets all technical specifications, contractual obligations, and success metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or NVQ Level 6 qualification.
- For BSc Engineer 5+ years of proven experience out of which 2 years in water projects with exposure to water-related infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, treatment plants, reservoirs, drainage, or irrigation).
- For NVQ Level 6 applicants 8+ years of proven experience out of which 5 years in water projects with exposure to water-related infrastructure (e.g., pipelines, treatment plants, reservoirs, drainage, or irrigation).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction methods, and relevant local codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
