Destination Expert – French Market

Job Profile
- Client Consultation: Engage with French-speaking clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget, providing expert advice on destinations and travel options tailored to the French market
- Itinerary Planning: Design and tailor bespoke travel itineraries that align with the expectations and travel trends of the French clientele, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience
- Reservations and Coordination: Manage all aspects of the reservation / booking process, including flights, accommodation, tours, and other travel services, ensuring smooth coordination with relevant suppliers
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client’s journey, particularly catering to French market clients, addressing any inquiries, changes or issues that may arise
- Market Research: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and services relevant to the French market to provide clients with the best possible options
- Sales and Marketing: Assist in promoting and selling travel packages to the French market, ensuring sales targets are met
The Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling the French market within the travel industry, preferably in a Destination Expert or Travel Advisor role
- Proven experience in dealing with French-speaking clients and understanding the preferences of the French travel market
- A Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in any discipline or specifically in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal / PR skills. (Proficiency in French language will be a definite advantage.)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for travel and a deep knowledge of global destinations is an added advantage
