PROJECT MANAGER
Location – Panadura
Texlin Global is a garment and technical textile manufacturer in Panadura with around 200 staff, making outdoor and technical products for international customers. Our group is building its own outdoor clothing and bags brand for the Australian market, and we need a Project Manager to run the Sri Lanka side.
You will be the link between our marketing and branding team and the factory: turning their briefs into a development plan, then driving design, sampling, costing and production to the agreed dates. Alongside that, you will handle our Australian team's other requirements from the factory, tracking and following up every order and development until it is delivered.
What you will do
- Build and run the development plan for a new outdoor range of 10 to 13 products
- Work with our team in Australia to keep design, sampling, costing and production on one timeline
- Track and report progress to the directors every week
- Take requirements from our Australian team and follow them through the factory to delivery
- Keep every order and development on one tracker, with clear owners, dates and status
What you bring
- 2 to 5 years of project management experience, with projects delivered on time and on budget
- A background in apparel, bags, textiles, retail or consumer goods
- Strong planning and Excel skills, and confidence with budgets
- Fluent English and Sinhala, with clear written reporting
