DESIGNATION: COORDINATOR GROUP SHIPPING & LOGISTICS

COMPANY NAME: CEYLON BISCUITS LIMITED

LOCATION: PANNIPITIYA

ROLE PROFILE

  • Manage booking requests with shipping lines and freight forwarders according to allocation plans.
  • Prepare accurate and compliant export documentation for all shipments.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, QA, and logistics teams to align cargo readiness with shipment schedules.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and certificates.
  • Maintain and update shipment trackers and share documentation systems with all relevant shipment details.
  • Dispatch final shipping documents to customers via bank or courier, in line with agreed payment terms.
  • Support reporting, inventory audits, and documentation for duty-free schemes and cargo insurance.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in shipping/export operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office with working knowledge of logistics systems and duty-free schemes such as TEIP/BOI.
  • Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and export documentation.
