DESIGNATION: COORDINATOR GROUP SHIPPING & LOGISTICS
COMPANY NAME: CEYLON BISCUITS LIMITED
LOCATION: PANNIPITIYA
ROLE PROFILE
- Manage booking requests with shipping lines and freight forwarders according to allocation plans.
- Prepare accurate and compliant export documentation for all shipments.
- Coordinate with warehouse, QA, and logistics teams to align cargo readiness with shipment schedules.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and certificates.
- Maintain and update shipment trackers and share documentation systems with all relevant shipment details.
- Dispatch final shipping documents to customers via bank or courier, in line with agreed payment terms.
- Support reporting, inventory audits, and documentation for duty-free schemes and cargo insurance.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in shipping/export operations.
- Proficient in MS Office with working knowledge of logistics systems and duty-free schemes such as TEIP/BOI.
- Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and export documentation.
