CYBER SECURITY & COMPLIANCE OFFICER
PBSS Group is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible Cyber Security & Compliance Officer to strengthen our information security framework, manage cyber risks, and ensure compliance with applicable security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and assess cyber security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats.
- Implement and continuously improve information security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct security and compliance assessments and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with internal IT/security policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support information security audits, risk assessments, and security incident investigations.
- Maintain cyber security and compliance documentation, registers, reports, and evidence.
- Coordinate with IT, Infrastructure, Internal Audit, HR, and other departments on security and compliance matters.
- Conduct and coordinate cyber security awareness initiatives for employees.
- Support data protection, access controls, business continuity, and information security practices.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and regulatory developments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the same or a similar capacity in Cyber Security & Compliance.
- Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, information security controls, risk management, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
- Good understanding of vulnerability management, incident management, access control, security monitoring, and cyber risk assessment.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
