Accounts & Administration Assistant- HOME Project

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Accounts & Administration Assistant – HOME Project to join our team and support the financial and administrative functions of our project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounting records and cash management activities.
  • Prepare and update bank, cash, and petty cash registers.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Process payments to staff, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Support budget monitoring and budget control activities.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and financial documentation.
  • Assist with payroll administration and salary payments.
  • Coordinate administrative and HR-related processes, including attendance, personnel records, and training administration.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial procedures, and safeguarding standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or part professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, AAT, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication skills in English and fluency in Sinhala/Tamil.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
