Positions:
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in quantity surveyor and minimum 5 year experience in construction field
- Should have excellent knowledge on conditions of contact and monitoring interim bills, sub-contractor bills and materials list
- Strong leadership and team management
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and Sinhala
- Having a very good knowledge of MS office and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of post contract procedure and preparing cash flow
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Participating in meetings, site visits, and briefing the management
- Responsible for competitive pricing using contract drawings, specification and bill of quantities
- Prepare cost benefit analysis and cash flow preparation
- preparing interim payment applications, final bill payments and follow up
- preparing sub-contract payment rate analysis
- Self-motivated and extremely organised character
- Calling suppliers and sub-contractors for quotation and evaluations
