HEAD OF SOFTWARE DELIVERY

Synapsys is looking for a Head of Software Delivery to strengthen our engineering leadership team, building enterprise and fintech applications used in regulated financial environments.
DUTIES
- Lead and manage the Senior Tech Lead, UI/UX Lead, Senior QA Engineers, and DevOps Engineer.
- Own technical standards, architecture decisions, and code quality across the pooled software development team.
- Own resourcing and capacity planning - assigning Tech Leads and engineers to projects across all products.
- Partner with the Chief Product Officer on requirements feasibility, and with the Chief Delivery Officer on delivery timelines.
- Drive engineering best practice in .NET, Node.js, React, and MS SQL development.
- Own technical risk, security posture (with the DevOps Engineer), and release quality.
- Champion adoption of AI and automation tools to improve development efficiency.
SPECS
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Strong hands-on background in .NET, Node.js, React, and MS SQL.
- Experience managing pooled or matrixed engineering teams delivering across multiple products.
- Experience in banking or fintech software is strongly preferred.
- Experience in use of AI and other tools to complement the development delivery process and other automations including QA automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
