Finance Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor the financial accounting function to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax-related matters effectively
- Prepare and present management accounting reports for strategic decision-making
- Prepare budgets and implement budgetary controls to align with organizational goals
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering skill development and career growth
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate Member or past finalized of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka)
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and budgeting processes
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems) for analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
