VACANCY
PROCUREMENT MERCHANDISER
LOCATION: CORPORATE OFFICE- WATTALA
JOB ROLE
- Source and procure fabrics that align with buyer's design and quality standards.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fabric suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
- Collaborate closely with product development teams, production teams, and suppliers to meet product specifications and timelines.
- Liaising with suppliers and relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve OTD and quality specifications.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on fabric trends, innovations, and sustainability practices.
- Manage long term supplier relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric inventory, purchases, and supplier agreements.
- Preparing MIS reports related to fabric procurement.
INDIVIDUAL PROFILE
- Qualification in Marketing / Merchandising and having experience in fabric procurement would be an added advantage.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- Age below 40 years.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to lead and make rational decision in a fast-paced environment.
