About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, internal controls, compliance, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting records and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance and provide management with meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Review and approve payments, invoices, reconciliations, and financial documents.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring effective performance and accountability.
- Support senior management in business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial/supervisory finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Experience in ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and lead a team.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the finance and accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
