Position
Ceylon Hospital is looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Public Relations Officer to strengthen relationships with patients, visitors, and other stakeholders while ensuring a positive hospital experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and other stakeholders.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Provide accurate information about hospital services and facilities.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth patient services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and the public.
- Support patient satisfaction and service quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with hospital events, promotional activities, and public relations initiatives.
- Maintain proper records of inquiries, complaints, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Customer Care, Marketing, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in public relations, customer service, hospitality, or healthcare is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Sinhala and English; proficiency in Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patient concerns tactfully.
- Good problem-solving, coordination, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Professional appearance, pleasant personality, and positive attitude.
